I met the most amazing guy that night.  I had just come home from my linguistics class, and my friends Heather and Mari called me to come over to Mari's for curry.  I REALLY had to study, so I told them I'd probably come by later on after I'd studied.  About 20 or 30 minutes later, Mari called again, and I put the books away, and went over.  They'd told me that Heather and Sean's friend David was visiting from England, and over there, too.  It would be nice to meet someone new, so I headed to Mari's for curry...

 Flowers from David, for the anniversary of the day we met. :)

...and totally ended up meeting the man I'm going to marry.
