It was an omen, then..?

I had started writing a post, but it just didn't seem to be going where I wanted it to, so when I saved it, obviously the blogging "higher powers" decided to go ahead and chuck it for me, because it's just not saved ANYWHERE in here, and I'd hit the save button, too, I KNOW I did.

OH well, it's NICE to be given a second chance, huh?

So I'll use this chance to its fullest.

Earlier today, a blogger friend of mine, MadameX, sent me a quick message to check a post on one of her blogs when I had some time.  So I went to her RockStories blog, but before I could get to the "Gee, No One's Ever Called Me 'Rockin'' Before..." post, I had poked around a couple of other entries.  You'll HAVE to go there, or any of the rest of her blogs, because MadameX is one HELLUVA writer.

So I get to "Gee, No One's Ever Called Me 'Rockin'' Before..." and lo and behold, she's passed her really awesome blog award

along to four really incredible bloggers, and ME! ;)  (I DO think the newness and shine of the new bathroom might have influenced her, though, even though she says it wasn't a factor; that shower's gonna have me proposing marriage to it if it keeps working as well as it does!)  I really feel honored to have such an interesting woman AND accomplished writer --among other titles!!-- feel that my blog/writing is worthy of being passed the baton --or in THIS case, the pink button-- of good "Girl Bloggers".  So in the tradition established around this little pink punch of awesomeness, I plan to pass this along to my five favorite Rockin' Girl Bloggers!!

I have to run for the moment, but I'll be thinking about who my favorite girl bloggers are, and when I've decided, I'll make sure to post them.
